Thank you for your interest in supporting Wartburg’s Annual Fund!
We are evermore grateful for your support and commitment to our mission and values. Our premier senior residential and healthcare organization affords our residents, those aging in place, and their families, a home where they can receive a full range of services to meet their individual needs.
Your support now is more critical than ever. There is a current lack of senior housing in Westchester County that is projected to increase over the next two decades. Furthermore, 400,000 New Yorkers currently suffer from Alzheimer’s and related dementia, with that number expected to increase 15 percent by 2025.
To help mitigate the housing insecurity facing seniors, Wartburg is planning an independent living expansion on its campus to include well-appointed apartments and state-of-the-art amenity space. To provide a safe and stimulating environment for those living with memory impairment, we are also expanding our services to include a new Meadowview Memory Care neighborhood and the construction of an additional Memory Care building on campus.
Gifts to Wartburg’s Annual Fund are essential to achieve these ambitious but necessary goals. With a gift today, you will help Wartburg care for the next generation of seniors in need of residential and health services.
In service together,
David J. Gentner, Ed.D.
