The Institute for Music and Neurologic Function
Wartburg is the only adult care community with the added benefit of being home to the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function (INMF).
IMNF is an internationally recognized non-profit agency engaging in research, education, and training and offering groundbreaking music therapy programs to restore, maintain, and improve patients’ physical, emotional, and neurological function through the methodical use of music.
This therapy assists in the “awakening and healing” of individuals with a wide range of neurological conditions including strokes, trauma, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease.
Residents at Berkemeier Living Center will have access to regularly scheduled music therapy programs.
