WHY IT'S IMPORTANT

Research demonstrates that having a
strong sense of meaning and purpose in
our daily life...

  • leads to better health outcomes
  • promotes better cognitive functioning
  • can slow certain diseases and
    disabilities
  • is correlated to a longer life

Living a full and meaningful life is possible at any age. For most of us, that means clarifying our own priorities, intentions, resources, needs, and creating a realistic plan of action.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND LIVING A GOOD LIFE

Having RELATIONSHIPS that nourish us – connections that make us feel loved and valued by others.

Experiencing MEANING in everyday life – the sense of belonging to a greater cause, or serving something greater than ourselves.

Having a feeling of ACCOMPLISHMENT that comes from the perseverance to attain goals – big or small.

Maintaining a level of HEALTH in our body and mind that enables us to engage in life in a satisfying way.
