The last public worship in Wartburg Chapel was held on March 1st, 2020. Since then, Pastor Kimberli Lile, Wartburg’s Director of Spiritual Care, has been using virtual means of gathering with Wartburg residents, United Lutheran congregants, and colleagues in the Metro New York Synod of the ELCA and the Association of Professional chaplains.
