Why did you choose to work at Wartburg?

I have been working at Wartburg for 5 years as a certified nurse assistant. It feels good to leave your home in the morning knowing that you are heading to a place where the staff is respectful, compassionate, approachable and loves the work they do. That is why I choose to stay and continue my nursing profession at Wartburg.

How does your work make an impact on the population Wartburg serves?

My work as a LPN will impact the population I serve because of the extensive caring background I have obtained over the years as a CNA. I am very familiar with the culture, philosophy and mission of Wartburg, I love it all because it has helped to make me who I am today.

What career advice do you have for someone interested in the work you do?

Come into the profession with a true passion to care for people. There is a saying that goes: treat everyone how you would want to be treated.
