Occupational Therapists are key members of our interdisciplinary care team, which is focused on providing person-centered care that is highly individualized and attuned to the specific needs and preferences of those we serve. Day-to-day responsibilities involve resident assessments and treatments, interface with other interdisciplinary team members, and education of residents, family members, and staff. A love for working with Seniors and the disabled is a must, as is having a passion for bringing healing and hope to those we serve. Successful incumbents will possess a nurturing disposition, strong interpersonal skills, and the compassion it takes to get the job done while building strong bonds and relationships. A Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required, along with NYS license and certification. 1-3 years of professional experience is preferred, with prior long term care experience a plus.
