Wartburg Lights The Night With 12th Annual Jazz In June Red Carpet Gala Featuring JB Smoove And A Star-Studded Guest List!
Mount Vernon, NY - Wartburg, an award-winning provider of comprehensive senior residential and healthcare services, marked their 12th Annual Jazz in June fundraiser on June 12, 2024, with an air of elegance and sophistication. The Red Carpet-inspired gala unfolded at the esteemed VIP Country Club in New Rochelle, graced by nearly 300 guests and supported by 55 sponsors. This year's event showcased acclaimed talents including Emmy Award-winning actor and comedian JB Smoove, complemented by tributes to icons such as Barbara Streisand, Joan Rivers, and James Brown.
The celebration honored several of Wartburg’s community partners. Dr. William T. Smith, accepting on behalf of Aging in America, was awarded the Partners in Building Award. Tom & Margaret Roth were awarded the Volunteer Service Award. George Burns, accepting on behalf of Magna Dry, was awarded the Corporate Partner Award. Sr. Laura Donovan, accepting on behalf of the Divine Compassion Community, was awarded the Partners in Mission Award.

Gentner, Ed.D. “It was such a fun evening – and real pleasure to present Aging In America & Dr. William T. Smith with the Partners in Building award for their financial support of the Waltemade adaptive reuse project.”
