Wartburg, a senior service provider in Westchester County, NY, has appointed Mary Queally, RN, to the position of Homecare Administrator. Ms. Queally comes to Wartburg from Isabella Visiting Care, Inc. in Manhattan where she has worked as Director since early 2010. “This appointment reaffirms Wartburg’s ongoing strategic emphasis on expanding home and community-based services,” said David Gentner, president and CEO of Wartburg. “Ms. Queally brings a fresh vision, decades of experience, and passion for community-based health care to our organization,” he said. In the role of administrator, Ms. Queally will manage both Wartburg’s Licensed Home Health Agency and the evolving Long Term Home Health Program, and Certified Home Health Agency, which collectively serve approximately 350 patients in the region. She will also be part of Wartburg’s Managed Care initiatives. “I am excited to join the prestigious staff at Wartburg and look forward to contributing to the excellent care that the Wartburg has been able to provide to the community,” said Queally. “It is our goal to allow our clients to choose to remain in their own homes for as long as they wish. Our mission to provide compassionate quality care will continue as we expand our offered services.”
Ms. Queally earned her MBA degree from Fordham and BSN from Hunter College Bellevue School of Nursing. Mary brings over 30 years of nursing experience in a community setting and is also a Certified Professional Geriatric Care Manager. “Ms. Queally will be instrumental as we work to operationalize our Certified Home Health Agency and prepare for Managed Care changes in this region, both as a payer and as a provider,” said Gentner.
