The Future Society Recognizes Two Wartburg Staff Members at Its First Annual Globe Awards Dinner
David J. Gentner, President and CEO and Ann Frey, Director of Volunteers are among ten honorees being recognized at The Future Society’s first annual Globe Awards Dinner scheduled for June 28, 2013 at the Davenport Club in New Rochelle, NY. David J. Gentner and Ann Frey will receive Inspiration Globe Awards at the organization’s gala event.
The Future Society and Wartburg have a long standing and well-established relationship. Over the years, the two organizations have partnered by holding numerous intergenerational events on Wartburg’s campus bringing together Mount Vernon youth and Wartburg residents and their families – making new friends, sharing stories and celebrating life. During the holidays, Wartburg staff and residents hold a gift drive for the boys and girls of The Future Society, a tradition that continues to grow each year.
According to Rev. Amandus J. Derr, Wartburg’s Board Chair, “Wartburg is very proud to have not only one, but two honorees at The Future Society’s first annual Globe Awards Dinner. We look forward to continuing our rich history of collaboration and partnership with all the children, volunteers and staff at The Future Society.”
