Ms. Maria Provenzano Joins Wartburg As the Director of Adult Day Services.
Ms. Maria Provenzano, LCSW, MS, comes to Wartburg from CenterLight Healthcare where she served as the Social Work Director for their Managed Long-Term Care Program. With over 20 years of experience in senior care, she brings a strong knowledge, along with expertise in performance improvement, quality initiatives and program growth, in adult day care facilities. Ms. Provenzano has earned a BS from Fordham University and Master’s Degrees in Social Work and Management from New York University.
“Ms. Provenzano brings a unique managed care perspective to the responsibilities of maintaining client services as well as increasing referrals for the traditional and non-traditional populations who will benefit from Wartburg’s Adult Days Services offer to the community,” said David Gentner, Wartburg President and CEO.
Ms. Provenzano will oversee Wartburg’s Adult Day Services Program, housed in our newest campus building, a modern $31 million, 70,000 square foot Rehabilitation and Adult Day Services Center. Wartburg’s Adult Day Services program provides a safe, stimulating environment for seniors, with special support for those living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. This program is designed specifically to meet the needs of both the reasonably healthy looking for social interaction and the medically frail who may need extra attention, and also provides a peace of mind for loved ones.
“I have a passion for senior care, particularly in Adult Day Services. I am excited to be part of the Wartburg family and look forward to growing this program to help more in the community and beyond live their best life,” said Ms. Provenzano.
Ms. Provenzano enjoys the theater and is currently directing a play at the City Island Theater, set to open later this month.
