Gibson Gives Presents Donation to IMNF
Mount Vernon, NY August 8, 2024 – Institute for Music and Neurologic Function (IMNF) an internationally leader in the art and science of music therapy to improve health and well-being in seniors has received a substantial instrument donation from Gibson Gives—the philanthropic division of Gibson, the iconic American instrument brand-- under the leadership of Erica Krusen and support for IMNF’s symposium and Music has Power Awards on November 20, 2024 at the Times Center NYC.
Three Epiphone Hummingbird studio guitars will be available to music therapy interns to use while a classis Les Paul ’58 studio guitar will be part of a fund-raising auction to support the work of the IMNF.
IMNF Executive Director and Co-Founder, Dr. Concetta M. Tomaino said, “We are grateful to Erica and Gibson Gives for this support which will provide excellent instruments for our students and help us raise needed funds to expand our work.”
