Includes continental breakfast, and lunch.

To be held in the New Berkemeier Living Center at Wartburg

Morning Session

Our presenter, Dr. Concetta M. Tomaino, DA, LCAT, MT-BC is Executive Director and Co-founder of IMNF.

Through an overview of music, the brain, and memory, Dr. Tomaino will outline challenges faced by those with memory impairment and how and why music is a powerful tool to enhance interpersonal connections and community engagement. Her book, Music has Power® in Senior Wellness and Healthcare:Best Practices from Music Therapy is a new international resource.

Join this opportunity to be on a cutting-edge roundtable with Dr. Tomaino about the human spirit’s response to music. For clergy, chaplains, and other spiritual care givers, this inaugural conversation is a chance to explore the application of best practices from music therapy to pastoral care, spiritual support, and worship settings.
