Clinical Pastoral Education Opportunities Available at Wartburg
Wartburg, an award-winning provider of comprehensive senior residential and healthcare services, seeks Clinical Pastoral Care interns for an extended CPE unit beginning this fall. Candidates will serve as a pastoral presence in Wartburg’s skilled nursing and rehab facilities, as well as in the assisted living community called Meadowview. Clinical supervision is provided by Rev. Silvia Misina of Lutheran Partners, a distance learning program that is working successfully with CPE interns around the world. Our campus is in southern Westchester County, New York, just at the northern brim of New York City, in Mt. Vernon. Wartburg’s Director of Spiritual Care is Rev. Kimberli Lile, a Lutheran pastor and Board Certified Chaplain.
The educational unit begins September 7, 2021 and concludes the end of February 2022. Each intern will be engaged an average of 12.5 hours per week during a 25 week-long unit. We seek candidates who are available during hours attuned to the rhythm of our residents’ daily life.
To apply for the program, please contact Rev. Silvia Misina, ACPE Certified Educator of Lutheran Partners CPE at cpe@lutheranpartners.edu. Applications must be submitted by August 1, 2021.
