Wartburg’s Maria Provenzano, LCSW, MS, to be Inducted as an Honorary Member of Iona University’s Phi Alpha Honor Society
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – March 25, 2025 – Wartburg is proud to announce that Maria Provenzano, LCSW, MS, Administrator of Meadowview Assisted Living and Manager of Lohman Village, will be inducted as an honorary member of Iona University’s Kappa Tau Chapter of Phi Alpha, the national social work honor society. The induction ceremony will take place at Iona University as part of the annual Phi Alpha Induction event.
Maria Provenzano has been a dedicated leader at Wartburg, where she has played a vital role in enriching the lives of seniors and fostering a culture of compassionate care. In addition to her leadership in senior care, Maria has made remarkable contributions to the education and mentorship of future social workers. She has served as a preceptor every semester for social work students during their clinical rotations at Iona University, a role she has fulfilled for several years.
Maria’s unwavering commitment to social work and her passion for guiding the next generation of professionals exemplify the values of Wartburg and the mission of Phi Alpha. Her impact extends beyond the walls of Wartburg, influencing both the lives of the residents she serves and the students she mentors.
