Wartburg 2014 Winter Arts Celebration
On December 5, 2014, Wartburg’s Council for Creative Aging and local artists continued the beloved tradition of starting the holiday season at Wartburg with the 4th Annual Winter Arts Celebration held in the Wartburg Chapel. This year’s event highlighted the Wartburg Choir, Wartburg Drumming Circle and Wartburg Movement & Dance featuring residents of Wartburg’s skilled nursing and assisted living facilities and participants of Wartburg’s adult day services programs. The Chapel School Choir (Bronxville, NY) was spotlighted as the guest artists singing classical hymns and holiday songs.
Wartburg’s Winter Arts Celebration is one of the many events presented by our award-winning, internationally recognized Creative Aging & Lifelong Learning. This initiative offers programs that promote stimulating thought, excite the spirit and contribute to a more livable community for our aging population and is made possible by the generosity of our loyal benefactors and supporters.
