“Our goal at Wartburg is simple. We strive to help people live as independently as possible for as long as possible.
“All of us are living on the brink of real change in terms of family dynamics, the economics of health care, the sociology of aging. Wartburg is well-positioned to meet those changing needs.
“Living at home, in the community, just makes more sense for everyone – the older adult, the family, the taxpayer – so we are moving much more into a community provider role. It’s no longer just about our beautiful campus; it’s about ‘aging-in-place.’
“We are here to help families make that possible. We want them to know they are not alone. Wartburg has a full continuum of services, so I believe we can help them – somehow, some way, somewhere.
“Wartburg really is the provider of choice. We have a great staff that’s inspiring and supportive. We have the resources. We have the rich history. It may sound cliché, but I really do love being part of Wartburg.
“While I may not be in the caregiver role, I feel truly connected to Wartburg families. In this environment, it’s impossible not to feel that sense of connection.”
